Good questions.
Clear answers.
Everything we can share about Arden today. If you need more, our small team reads every note.
01What exactly is Arden?
+
Arden is a GPU-driven real-time engine for creating, simulating, and rendering large natural worlds. It combines terrain, water, vegetation, atmosphere, lighting, and streaming in one connected toolset.
02Who is Arden for?
+
Game teams, virtual production artists, world builders, researchers, and independent creators who need expansive, art-directable natural environments.
03When can I use it?
+
A private technical alpha is opening in waves during 2026. Early access members will help shape workflows, formats, and priorities.
04What platforms will it support?
+
Arden runs in the browser on WebGPU, so there is nothing to download — if your browser and GPU support WebGPU, you can run it. It wants a desktop-class GPU; phones and older machines are not a target today. Export and standalone builds are still being evaluated.
05Will it work with my existing assets?
+
Yes. Arden is being designed around open interchange. glTF assets are supported today, with broader pipeline integrations planned.
06How much will it cost?
+
Pricing has not been announced. Alpha access is free for selected testers, and we intend to offer an accessible path for independent creators.
07Is the demo really running in the browser?
+
Yes. The current technical demo runs on WebGPU and showcases Arden’s rendering and world-simulation foundations directly in a compatible browser.
